(Narcissus compressus)
“Pet poisonous” – Toxic parts: bulbs Height 35cm. Leaves dark green. Stem round. Flowers three to eight, 4cm in diameter, tepals patent sometimes imbricate, corona less than half length of petals, uniform bright yellow, mid-spring. Wild hybrid between N. jonquilla and N. tazetta (or N. papyraceus\}). Said to be wild in southern France, northern Spain, Balearic Isles and Italy, but probably introduced in most known localities.
