Description

Peucedanum terebinthaceum is a flock-flowered plant species first described by Fisch. and Ludolph Christian Treviranus, and got its current name from Fisch. and Porphir Kiril Nicolai Stepanowitsch Turczaninow. Peucedanum terebinthaceum belongs to the genus Siljos, and the family of herbaceous flowering plants. The species is divided into the following subspecies: P. t. Deltoideum P. t. Terebinthaceum Siljor or Mossroot genus ( Peucedanum ) is a genus in the family of herbaceous flowering plants with about 160 species of perennials, often tall herbs with white or yellow, rarely red flowers, spread all over the world, most in the Mediterranean, Central Asia and North America. In Sweden, there are two upright, white-flowered species: Mossrot and Backsilja. Peucedanum officinale with yellow flowers is a popular garden plant.
