Description

The genus Oxypolis is in the family Apiaceae in the major group Angiosperms. Oxypolis is a genus of plants of the family of the Apiaceae . It comprises 17 species described and of these, only 5 accepted. The genus was described by Constantine Samuel Rafinesque and published in Neogenyton 2. 1825. 2 The type species is: Oxypolis rigidior (L.) Raf.
