Description

Hoya imperialis is a species of the genus of wax flowers ( Hoya ) from the subfamily of the plant plants (Asclepiadoideae). Hoya imperialis is an epiphytic, climbing, perennial herbaceous plant . Up to 6 meters long stems are initially filzig hairy, later bare. The leaves are at a length of about 15 cm and a width of 5 cm, other sources give a length of up to 23 cm oblong-lanceolate and pointed. They can be thin and papery, but also succulent. The leaf margins can be wavy (in the Hoya imperialis var. Rauschi ). They are light green with a pronounced midrib.
