Description

“Pet poisonous” – Toxic parts: berries Ilex perado is an evergreen shrub from the holly family ( Aquifoliaceae ). The species is found in Macaronesia (the Canary Islands , Madeira and the Azores ) and locally in Spain and Portugal . Ilex perado differs from the common holly because of its mostly unprimed leaves. It is an important component of the native laurel forest or laurisilva.
