Description

Perennial plant , glabrous, with underground hemispherical tubercle up to disciform and underground stem up to 5 cm long. Leaves that occur after the inflorescence, linear to narrowly elliptic, flat or wavy, 5-0 cm long and 5-0 mm wide. Bract of the inflorescence ( spathe ) 8-0 cm long, at the base (under the ground) forming a tube .5-6 cm long, the anterior part lanceolate, dark purple and the greenish exterior. The spadix or inflorescence with sterile flowers below and above the male flowers, the thin appendix, 9-6 cm long and up to 3 mm wide, broadly prominent, purple. Berries white or green
