(Iguanura wallichiana rosea)
There are three subspecies, Iguanura wallichiana var. major, (Malaya) A truly spectacular dwarf palm, native to Peninsular Malaysia, which forms a dense cluster of trunkless plants with vivid green, undivided leaves to about 1.5 m (5 ft.) tall. Iguanura wallichiana var. rosea (Malaya Kelantan, and Perak.) Iguanura wallichiana var. wallichiana, (Malaya, Sumatera, and Thailand.) forms clusters of canlike stems to about 3 m (10 ft.) tall, each holding an open crown of arching leaves with wide, somewhat fishtail-shaped leaflets.
