Description

Acaulescent, solitary palas, 7 to 10 leaves to crown; petiole to about 1.5 m long; frond orbicular, diameter about 50 to 70 cm across; 9 to 18 leaflets. Inflorescence about 60 cm long with white flowers. Maturing fruits globose and with coarse surface. Logged over lowland forest Common undergrowth palm on flat areas near the river.
