Description

The ovate Bulbillen carrying, pyramidal branched inflorescence reaches a height of up to 1.6 meters. The bell-shaped, hanging flowers are on 4 to 10 millimeters long pedicels . They are alone or in pairs to four in tufts together. The flowers have a length of 38 to 46 & millimeters (rarely 30 to 50 & millimeters). Their elongated whitish tepals are 21 to 25 millimeters (rarely 17 to 30 millimeters) long and 6 to 10 millimeters wide. The stamens are 15 to 30 millimeters long. The ovary has a length 17 to 21 mm and the stylus from 15 to 30 millimeters up. The broadly elongated fruits, which are constricted at their base and deeply furrowed, are trimmed at their tips. They reach a length of 3 to 5 centimeters and a width of 2.5 to 4 centimeters. The fruits contain seeds 12 to 14 millimeters long and 4 to 6 millimeters wide , which are flat.
