(Nolina arenicola)
It is a plant almost without stem,-cespitosa-, in rosettes of verticals, subterranean caudices, branched.-Leaves as-wires-, carinated, flat or concave-convex of 100-200 cm x 10.5 mm, not glaucous, the margins serrulate, and very distant from each other, noncartilaginous teeth.-The-escapement-of 1-3 dm.-Paniculata inflorescences, rarely purple, 4-7 dm - 12-18 cm, the main rachis and thick divisions, lateral displacement;-Persistent bracts.-The fruit in hard-walled capsules, inflated, widely rounded distally.-Seeds 3 x 4.3 mm in diameter.
