Description

Scilla nana-(formerly called-Chionodoxa nana-or-Chionodoxa cretica) is a mountain plant growing from a bulb which flowers at snow melt time. It is often seen in company with-Crocus sieberi-(see middle photo) in the midst of berberis bushes. The small flowers can be pure blue, blue and white and sometimes very light blue. It is an endemic flower of the White Mountain
