Close-up of the smooth nutlets (and calyx lobes) of Watson's cryptantha as seen at the base of the dam for Banks Lake, about one mile upstream of Dry Falls in Grant County, Washington......June 1, 2013. Note the strongly angled margins of the nutlets, especially above. More than one nutlet is present per mature calyx and the hairs of the calyx lobes are straight.
