Description

It is a grass perennial uni or multicaule, setoso- Hispid Stems up to 35 cm, erect, simple, with indumento double patent mushrooms pustulated rigid base and short hairs appressed and antrorsos. Leaves with double induction of patent mushrooms of thickly pustulated base and short appressed hairs; those of the base of up to 7 x 0.3 cm, very narrowly oblanceolate, gradually narrowing at the base; the caulinars up to 4 (-4.5) x 0.3 (-0.4) cm, linear or very closely oblanceolated. Inflorescencespiciform, more or less cylindrical, generally dense, with dense tops of up to 3.5 (-7) cm in the fructification. Bracts 4-7 (-8) x 0.7-1.5 (-2) mm, linear or linear-lanceolate, usually shorter than the calyx. Flowers with short pedicels. Chalice with lobes of 5-8 (-9) x 0.4-0.8 (-1) mm and linear in the anthesis, elongating slightly and linear or linear-lanceolate in the fruiting, with double induction of rigid mushrooms and hairs short few. Corolla of (8-) 10-15 (-16) mm, infundibuliform, zygomorphic, with scarcely marked tube, blue-violet or blue-purple with whitish tube, with some long hairs on the nerves and short hairs more or less throughout the surface. Androceo with (4-) 5 of the stamensexerted, with reddish and glabrous filaments. 1.5-2 (-2.4) x (1-) 1.2-1.4 mm, dense, irregular and shortly tuberculated, yellowish gray. 2N = 16
