Description

Mila is a genus of plants in the Cactaceae family. It comprises 16 described species and of these, only 3 accepted. They are cacti with cylindrical stems, prostrate, about 30 cm long by 4 in diameter, they grow in colonies. It has numerous low ribs covered with spines. The flowers are diurnal yellow. The small, globular, naked, green or reddish and juicy fruits. The seeds are black, tuberculate and elongated.
