Weberocereus bradei

Description

Eccremocactus bradei growing epiphytic with at first ascending and later horizontal or hanging from the base or branching near the shoot tips instincts . The shoots are flattened at their bases, and flattened above them, thick and leafy. They are 60 to 100 centimeters long and 5 to 12 centimeters wide. The triebrands are slightly corrugated and are provided with indentations of up to 5 millimeters deep. The tip is rounded. The bald areoles on the shoots are located at the base of the indentations. The two to four stone-colored spines , occasionally more, are needle-like, thickened at their bases, and 3 to 6 millimeters long. The bell-shaped to funnel-shaped, cream-colored to white flowers appear near the shoot tips. They are 5.5 to 7 centimeters long. Their sometimes only slightly spreading blooms are fleshy. Its pericarple and the petals are bare. The elongated to egg-shaped, smooth, brownish-red fruits are bare. They have a length of 3.5 centimeters. Their pulp is white.
