Description

Lonicera pyrenaica is a shrub of the family of the Caprifoliaceae . Bush deciduous , hairless, gray and brittle branches. Leaves green off, oval, entire, opposite, pointed. Flowers abundant, of 12-20 mm, bell-shaped, with 5 similar lobes , of white color with pink tonalities, in pairs, held by smaller peduncles , equal or longer than the flowers. Corolla with 5 lobes shorter than the tube. Stamens and style included in the corolino tube. Berries of red orange color, 5 mm, free or very poorly welded at the base. Cracks and shelves in limestone rocks. It is distributed by the main mountainous systems of the western Mediterranean. In Spain , he lives in the eastern half and in the Balearic Islands
