Description

Field scented ( Scabiosa columbaria ) is a plant species in the family of plantains . It occurs in large parts of Europe , from southern Scotland to Estonia and south. However, the species is missing in many of the Mediterranean islands. In Sweden, the species grows generally in Skåne and Öland and Gotland . However, it can be found rarely up to Uppland. Field wreck grows on dry and lime-rich fields, in dry slopes and on lawns.
