Description

Arenaria gracilis is a species of Magnoliopsida described by Franz de Paula Adam von Waldstein-Wartemberg and Amp; Kit. Arenaria is a genus of flowering plants, within the family Caryophyllaceae. Species of this genus are among those plants commonly known as "sandworts". Several species formerly classified within Arenaria are now classed in the genera Spergularia, Eremogone and Minuartia. Arenaria gracilis is a species in the genus Arenaria which contains between 314 and 469 species and belongs to the family of the Caryophyllaceae (Pink Family). The type species of the genus is Arenaria serpyllifolia.
