Description

The species which first formally Described as Casuarina grevilleoides by the botanist Ludwig Diels in 1904 as part of the work Fragmenta Phytographiae Australiae occidentalis. Contribution to the knowledge of the plants of Western Australia, their distribution and their living conditions. Botanical Yearbooks for Systematics, Plant History and Plant Geography It was reclassified in 1982 into the Allocasuarina genus by Lawrence Alexander Sidney Johnson in the Journal of the Adelaide Botanic Gardens.
