Terminalia virens is a two-hearted plant species first described by Richard Spruce and August Wilhelm Eichler , and now became known as Alwan and CA Stace. Terminalia virens are included in the genus Terminalia and the Combretaceae family . No subspecies are listed in the Catalog of Life . Terminalia is a genus of large trees of the flowering plant family Combretaceae, comprising around 100 species distributed in tropical regions of the world. This genus gets it name from Latin terminus, referring to the fact that the leaves appear at the very tips of the shoots.
