Description

Cyperus dactylotes is a sedge of the Cyperaceae family that is native to Australia. The perennial rhizomatous sedge typically grows to a height of 0.4 to 1.2 metres (1.3 to 3.9 ft) and has a tufted habit. It blooms between May and July producing green-yellow-brown flowers. It is found in creek beds and other damp areas in the Kimberley and Pilbara regions of Western Australia where it grows in sand-loam-clay soils.
