Description

Dichapetalum is a genus in the plant family Dichapetalaceae. The plants are tropical lianas native to warmer regions of Africa, Asia, Malesia, the West Indies, Australia and Latin America. Dichapetalum affine is a two-hearted plant species first described by Jules Émile Planchon and George Bentham and became known as Francis Jozef Breteler. Dichapetalum affine is part of the genus Dichapetalum and the Dichapetalaceae family. No subspecies are listed in the Catalog of Life.
