Description

Evergreen shrub or small tree.Leaves alternate,small,held in one plane,elliptic to ovate,glossy dark green above,paler below;margin entire.Flowers axillary,solitary or in few-flowered clusters,white.Fruit held in a cup of the persistent calyx,resembling small acorns,yellow to red when ripe.
