Description

Goodenia heterophylla is a flowering plant that is endemic to Australia. Found in woodland or on sandstone, mostly in dry sheltered situations. Usually growing to a height of 20 to 50 cm tall. The leaves are sessile, linear to ovate, 1–4 cm long and 2–10 mm across. The leaf edges are entire or lobed. The species was first formally described by English botanist James Edward Smith in 1794 in Transactions of the Linnean Society of London. Four subspecies are currently recognised: - Goodenia heterophylla subsp. heterophylla - Goodenia heterophylla subsp. eglandulosa Carolin - Goodenia heterophylla subsp. montana Carolin - Goodenia heterophylla subsp. teucriifolia (F.Muell.)
