Haemodorum is a genus of plants belonging to the family Haemodoraceae . It has twenty species. 1 He is originally from New Guinea to Australia . It comprises 28described species and of these, only 20 accepted. The genus was described by James Edward Smith and published in Transactions of the Linnean Society of London 4: 213. 1798. 3 The type species is: Haemodorum corymbosum Vahl.
