Description

lyxa japonica is a species of Liliopsida first described by Friedrich Anton Wilhelm Miquel, and given its simplified Asian name by Carl Maximowicz, Paul Friedrich August Ascherson and Robert Louis August Maximilian Gürke. Blyxa japonica belongs to the genus Blyxa, and the family Hydrocharitaceae. The IUCN classifies the species as endangered.
