Betonica scardica

Description

Concernica scardica is fundamentally different from all other European Betonica species due to the felty hairiness (under the microscope as star hair),the white flowers,the oval-elliptical leaf blades,and the leaves which are not smaller on the stems.Morphologically the closest is Betonica betoniciflora from Central Asia.
