Description

Malope is a genus three species ) of plants of flowers pertaining to the family ( Malvaceae ). Of the three species, Malope trifida is used as an ornamental plant . It is native to the Mediterranean region . It was described by Linnaeus and published in Species Plantarum 2-692 in the year 1753. The type species is Malope malacoides L.
