Description

Perennial,rosulated,glabérrima,prostrate plant;roots 2-4 mm thick;stem 1-2 cm high,with branches that start from near the base and end up as peduncles of the inflorescences;leaves with petiole up to 1 cm,obovate to orbicular-obovate,fleshy,4-6 x 1.5-4 cm,lower ones arranged in rosettes,caulinares,opposite,2- 3 cm.Inflorescence in corymbose summits,of 8 -15 flowers;pedicels graceful 5-8 cm,ascending,bracts oblong - ovate acute 1- 2 mm;elliptic sepals 4 mm,rounded apex;yellow or red petals,stamens 6-8;fruit,an ovoid capsule of 4-5 mm;seeds 1 mm,black,little bright with elliptical tubers.
