Campomanesia xanthocarpa, guabirá, anda perennial botanical species phanerogamous tree of the myrtaceae family. Ye endemic to Brazil: Espírito Santo, Minas Gerais, Parana, Rio Grande do Sul, Rio de Janeiro; Bolivia: Santa Cruz; Argentina: Corrientes, Misiones; Paraguay: Central, Missions. It is a tree that has a rounded crown and a stubborn stem, grooved at the base. The bellows are opposite, simple, membranous, oblong oval, curly, rich in tannin, 3-4.5 cm long x 4-10 cm wide. It flowers from September to October and bears fruit from September to December.
