Description

Eucalyptus falcata, commonly known as silver mallet,is a mallee that is native to Western Australia.The Noongar peoples know the tree as Toolyumuck.The mallee or marlock typically grows to a height of 6 metres (20 ft) and has smooth bark. It blooms between August and May producing white-cream flowers.It has a scattered distribution of isolated populations from east of Kojonup north east to west of Corrigin in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia. Often found on the top or slopes of lateritic rises and is associated with species such as E. astringens, E. densa, E. incrassata, E. salmonophloia, E. urna and E. wandoo.
