Description

Eucalyptus extensa is a eucalypt that is native to Western Australia.The mallee typically grows to a height of 3 to 8 metres (10 to 26 ft) and has smooth powdery bark throughout that is grey or grey-brown to green or yellow in colour.It blooms in March producing yellow flowers on a simple axillary conflorescence with regular seven-flowered umbellasters.The range of the plant is on sandplains and undulating areas along the south of Western Australia in the southern Wheatbelt and south western Goldfields-Esperance regions where it grows in red loam,grey sandy loam and sometimes gravelly soils.
