Description

Eucalyptus scoparia,the Wallangarra white gum,is a small to medium-sized tree with smooth,white with light grey patched bark with a powdery coating.The leaves are stalked,narrow-lanceolate to 15 x 1 cm,concolorous,glossy,green with numerous oil glands.White flowers appear in late spring to early summer.The tree is widely planted as an ornamental in south-eastern Australia for its attractive bark and fine glossy green foliage.
