Description

Melaleuca hamulosa is dense, bushy shrub or small tree growing to about 4 m (10 ft), sometimes 7 m (20 ft) high with fibrous or papery bark. Its leaves are arranged alternately around the stem and are more or less pressed against it. The leaves are 3.5-11 mm (0.1-0.4 in) long and 0.6-1.0 mm (0.02-0.04 in) wide, linear, almost circular in cross section and have a hooked end.
