Cambui is a semi-deciduous,densely branched,shrub or small tree growing from 1 - 6 metres tall.The crooked bole can be 15 - 30cm in diameter. The edible fruits are gathered from the wild for local use,and the tree is also sometimes cultivated in domestic orchards
