Description

Campylocentrum micranthum is a species of epiphytic orchid native to America . It is an orchid of small size, with elongated stems, completely covered with tubular, distichous and applied sheaths. Leaves 2-8 cm long and 10-15 mm wide, obliquely 2-lobed at the apex, coriaceous. Inflorescences densely multi-colored, the flowers white, creamy, sometimes rather pink; sepal dorsal 4 mm long, lateral sepals 4.5 mm long; petals 3.2 mm long; lip lanceolate, 3.6 mm long, 3-lobed, the auriculate lateral lobes, rounded at the apex, in natural position hugging the column, the medium-sized wolf with cylindrical spur 3.5 mm long; column 1 mm long.
