Campylocentrum schiedei

Description

Campylocentrum schiedei is a species of Liliopsida first described by Heinrich Gustav Reichenbach, and given its simplified Asian name by George Bentham and William Botting Hemsley. Campylocentrum schiedei belongs to the genus Campylocentrum, and the family Orchidaceae. None of these subspecies are listed. Campylocentrum is a genus of rare orchids (family Orchidaceae) native to Mexico, the West Indies, Central America and South America. One species (C. pachyrrhizum) extends its range into Florida.
