Description

Inflorescence contracted, linear, 4-11 cm long, 0.5-1 cm wide. Spikelets lanceolate, 3.5-4 mm long, without a rachilla extension. Glumes unequal, membranous, longer than lemma; glume to 3.4 mm long, setiform; upper glume 3.8-4 mm long, setiform. Lemma elliptic, 3-3.5 mm long; awn arising 0.2-0.9 mm below apex, once-geniculate, not twisted, 5-8 mm long overall; callus 0.2-0.3 mm long, sparsely hairy with hairs 0.4 mm long; palea 2.4-2.6 mm long. Anthers 3, 0.4-0.5 mm long.
