Gouinia , is a genus of herbaceous plantsbelonging to the family of the Poaceae . He is originally from Mexico to Argentina . The genus was described by E.Fourn. ex Benth. & Hook.f. and published in Genera Plantarum 3: 1178. 1883. 2 The type species is: Gouinia polygama E. Fourn.
