Description

Xanthophyllum longum is a tree in the family Polygalaceae.The specific epithet longum is from the Latin meaning "long",referring to the petioles.Xanthophyllum longum grows up to 5 metres (20 ft) tall with a trunk diameter of up to 10 centimetres (4 in).The bark is pale greenish or blackish.The brownish fruits are round and measure up to 1.7 cm (1 in) in diameter.
