Description

Grevillea makinsonii is a shrub of the genus Grevillea native to an area in the Mid West region of Western Australia. The erect shrub typically grows to a height of 0.6 to 1.6 metres (2 to 5 ft) and has non-glaucous branchlets. It has simple obovate undissected leaves with a blade that is 10 to 30 millimetres (0.39 to 1.18 in) in length and 3 to 8 mm (0.12 to 0.31 in) wide. It blooms in September and produces a terminal raceme irregular inflorescence with cream yellow flowers. Later it forms rugose obovoid glabrous fruit that is 6 mm (0.2 in).
