Description

Petrophile helicophylla is a shrub endemic to Western Australia.The prostrate shrub typically grows to a height of 0.15 to 0.35 metres (0.5 to 1.1 ft) and a width of 0.3 to 1.6 m (1.0 to 5.2 ft). It blooms between September and February producing yellow-cream-white-pink flowers.It is found on sand plains and near salt pans in the southern Wheatbelt and Great Southern regions of Western Australia where it grows in sandy-clay-gravelly soils
