Description

“Pet poisonous” – Toxic parts: entire plant esp. leaves Ranunculus aduncus is an aquatic plant of the Ranunculáceae family. It is a perennial plant, which reaches a size of 15-55 cm in height. Rhizome thick, oblique, glabrous or sparsely hairy on top; fibrous, cylindrical roots. Stem simple or branched in the middle, with patent or appressed hairs of 0.5-1.5 mm. Subpentagonal basal leaves, petiolate, 3-5 batches, with internal divisions reaching up to 6 / 7-7 / 9 of the blade, hairy; foil (8) 15-50 (60) × (15) 20-70 (85) mm; obovate-cuneate, subcontiguous segments, with triangular teeth. Cauline leaves (1) 2-4 (6); the lower ones, sometimes petiolate and similar to the basal ones; the rest, sessile, 3 (5) -partidas -until 7/6 of the lamina-, with segments of lanceolate to lanceolate-linear, dentate or subentero. Flowers 1-3, 17-32 mm in diameter. Separable patents, with hairs up to 1-2.5 mm. Petals 9-15 mm, with short nectariferous scale, truncated or irregularly jagged. Globose-ellipsoidal, hairy, glabrous receptacle in the insertion zone of the stamens.Aquenios 3.5-5.5 (6) mm, obovoid-orbicular, lenticular, smooth, with distinctly keeled margin, not or slightly asurcate; peak (1) 1.5-2 (2.5) mm, falciform.
