Description

Asperula elonea grows as a semi- fouling smoke and reaches heights of 20 to 45 centimeters.The numerous upright or ascending,rod-shaped,branched stems are glabrous and square with sharp,prominent corners.The early descending,ascending leaves are four or more rarely six in whorls and are much shorter than the internodes.The upper leaves are narrowly linearand 12-20 millimeters long,the lower oblong elliptical and 7 to 20 millimeters long.The leaf blade is rolled downwards at the edge and completely glabrous.
