It is a shrub or tree,that reaches a size of until 6 m of height;densely rust-puberul twigs;with oblong-oval stipules,10-16 mm,obtuse or obtuse,mucronate,tomentulous,and hairy;leaves oblong to oval or round-browed,3.5-13 cm x 2-7 cm,rounded or very obtuse at the apex,heart-shaped at the base,coriaceous,hairy to glabrescent in the bundle,the back albo-tomentoso,the nerves;subcapitated summits,3-floras,peduncles of 0.3-2.5 cm,sessile flowers,chalice tomentoso and peloso,of 7 mm in the button;white corolla,2.5-5 cm tube,retroo-pleuritic,ovate-oblong lobes,8-10 mm;globular fruit,8-18 mm,tomentulous.
