It is a-small-shrub-or-tree-, which reaches a size of 5-6 m in height, glabrous branches.-The opposite leaves, with-petiole-of 4-10 mm, glabrous;-Elliptic-oblong, elliptic, oblanceolate, obovate or oblong-lanceolate, 10-17 x 3-6 cm, glabrous on both surfaces, base cuneate to obtuse,-apex-obtuse to acute, with secondary nerves 8-12 pairs;-Stipules-generally persistent.-The-inflorescences-terminal, corimbiformes to densely cimosas, subs-siles to pedunculadas, with ped-nculo of 4,5 cm.-The fruit in the form of-subglobous-drupe-of 6-8 mm in diameter.-Fl. April-October, fr.-September.
