Salix petiolaris , the stalked willow ( stalked willow , slender willow and meadow willow in English), is a shrubby willow species of the family Salicaceae , native to North America .Salix petiolaris is a bushy shrub from 2 to 4 m which owes its name to the length of the petiole of its leaves, more important than for the other members of the genus.
