Description

Madhuca pallida is a tree in the Sapotaceae family. It grows up to 16 metres (52 ft) tall, with a trunk diameter of up to 30 centimetres (12 in). The bark is dark brown. Inflorescences bear up to eight bright yellowish green flowers. The specific epithet pallida is from the Latin meaning "pale in colour", referring to the leaves. Habitat is lowland mixed dipterocarp forest from sea-level to 300 metres (1,000 ft) altitude. M. pallida is found in Sumatra and Borneo.
