Description

Madhuca sepilokensis is a tree in the family Sapotaceae. It grows up to 13 metres (40 ft) tall, with a trunk diameter of up to 15 centimetres (6 in). Inflorescences bear up to six flowers. The tree is named after Sepilok in Malaysia's Sabah state. Its habitat is lowland mixed dipterocarp forest from sea-level to 100 metres (330 ft) altitude. M. sepilokensis is endemic to Borneo and confined to Sabah's Sandakan district.
