Thymelaea tinctoria

Description

Thymelaea tinctoria is a species of woody plant belonging to the family Thymelaeaceae .t is a perennial , dioecious plant with a woody consistency. The stems are reddish to grayish in color, with foliar scars. It has numerous bluish green leaves, elongated, more or less semicircular and somewhat fleshy. The flowers are arranged in the axils of the leaves, they are solitary, of intense yellow color, they develop early, on a small hairy peduncle .
